Took about 10mins to boot up with the message "android is starting, optimizing app 1 of 1". the only solution for me was to reset my mobile to factory default. make sure you do a complete back up before resetting.. The xda app is the fastest way to access the forums on mobile.. Every time i reboot my lg g4 i get the android is starting. optimizing app 1 of 1... and takes about 15 minutes to finish each time. i've tried booting into recovery mode to wipe the partition cache, but the phone won't seem to boot into recovery mode by holding the power button and volume down buttons on boot. it ignores it..
I have a moto g (2nd gen) and when i turn it on e.g. after it crashes, it gets stuck. it goes through the motorola loading screen with the stitching animation but whe my lock screen should appear a white pop up appears infront of a black screen saying, "android is starting: optimising app 1 of 1" where it gets stuck.. After doing some digging it seems like this happens when android has a problem optimizing one or more apps, so it stubbornly retries all of them. so i uninstalled apps one-by-one and rebooted, and the problem went away after uninstalling supersu..
